▶On Streets

 

街では常に様々なドラマが展開されている。

次々と私の視界に入っては消える、今後もう二度と目の前に現れることのない「今」。

時には驚きや感動を、時にはユーモラスに、めまぐるしく変化していくシーン。

 

人々が演じるひとつひとつの興味深い仕草や、それぞれの関係性。

「今」起きている事実は一瞬に過ぎ去ってしまうからこそ儚く、そして美しい。

 

これらの作品は全て路上で起こったリアルな出来事の記録である。

瞬きをしている間にも終わってしまうような印象的な場面は、

その時々の流行や生活スタイル、都市の変化とともに多種多様に

カタチを変えながら今日も明日も続いていく。

Various dramas are happening on streets.

They come into my sights, and pass away one after another. 

“Now” which will never appear before me.

 Scenes which keep changing, sometimes with surprise, emotion, and humour.

 

Every signs that people act and their relationships interest me. 

The event which is happening “now” passes away in a moment, and that is why it is fleeting and beautiful.

 

All these photographs are the records of real happenings on streets. 

Impressive scenes which is passing away in a moment have been changing its shapes with fashion, 

lifestyle and transitions of a city, and continue to happen hereafter.
